A RATIONAL SYNTHESIS OF MAGNETIC NANOPARTICLES INCORPORATED HORSERADISH PEROXIDASE NANOFLOWER AND ITS USE FOR THE REMOVAL OF PHENOL THROUGH OXIDATIVE COUPLING REACTION WITH GREAT REUSABILITY

Herein, we report preparation of magnetic hybrid nanoflower (MhNF) formed horseradish peroxidase (HRP), copper ions (Cu2+) and iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe3O4 NPs) with greatly enhanced activity, stability, reusability applicability for use in removal phenol from aqueous solution. In this study, pre-synthesized small sized Fe3O4 NPs were immobilized to synthesized HRP-Cu2+ (hNFs). The MhNFs characterized using SEM, EDX XRD analysis. We also the chemical structures free HRP MhNF FTIR. protein encapsulation yields determined spectrophotometrically calculated as ~98% all synthesis conditions. activities HRP, HRP-based non-magnetic (hNF) 5847.6, 16738.2, 18830.5 EU/mg, respectively. optimum pH was 7. easily rapidly separated reaction medium by an external field be re-used. Even after seven cycles, maintained more than 75% their initial activity. believe that repeated can reduce capital operation costs. results are very promising terms increasing efficiency industrial application especially wastewater treatment.
